Log in with Passkeys: Passwordless Authentication Arrives on Still

You can now sign in to Still using passkeys — no passwords required. Passkeys are more secure than traditional passwords and work across all your devices. Set one up in your account settings today.

Passwords are the weakest link in online security. They are reused, guessed, stolen, and phished. Starting today, Still supports passkeys — a passwordless authentication standard built on public-key cryptography.

What Are Passkeys?

Passkeys use your device's biometric sensors (Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello) or device PIN to authenticate you. A unique cryptographic key pair is generated for each account. The private key never leaves your device, and the public key is stored on Still's servers. This makes passkeys:

  • Phishing-resistant: There is no password to steal
  • Breach-proof: Even if Still's servers are compromised, your private key is safe
  • Effortless: Unlock with your face, fingerprint, or device PIN

How to Set Up a Passkey

  1. Go to your Account Settings
  2. Click "Add Passkey"
  3. Follow your device's prompts to verify your identity

That is it. Next time you log in, choose "Sign in with Passkey" instead of entering a password.

What About My Existing Password?

Your password still works. Passkeys are an additional, more secure option. You can use either method — or both — to sign in.

Passkeys are available for all users. We encourage everyone to set one up and move toward a passwordless future.
